Happy Memorial Day to everyone out there, especially our veterans and loved ones of veterans who lost their lives in duty. One of the staples of daytime TV in the 1980s was the extended commercial for a series of books, and one of the most impactful of those series was Time-Life's promo campaign for The Vietnam Experience.
